Before the Oyo State Government made tourism one of the anchor points to drive the Oyo State economy, these men began investing in the tourism sector. Oyo State Tourism Destination of the Year

This award goes to the destination (and its managers) that received some of the highest number of visitors/tourists in the year who gave the greatest visibility to tourism in Oyo State.

Oyo State Tourism Facility of the Year

This award goes to the facility that attracted the most tourists in the state because of its state-of-the-art facilities, superb customer service and attention to environmental sustainability. It goes to a private sector facility.
